He departed this life October 15, 1941 at the age of 65 years, 2 months and 16 days. He moved with his parents when a boy to Kansas. In 1894 they moved to Cleo Springs, Oklahoma. About 1900 he moved to Rankin, where he met and married Annie Bell Kimball. To this union three children were born. Mr. Libby united with the Baptist Church at Cheyenne in early manhood. He joined the Cheyenne Masonic Lodge No. 133 in 1918 and was demitted to the Reydon Lodge No. 628 in 1930, being a charter member. He was also an Eastern Star member. He was very faithful to his lodge. He has been secretary to the Masonic lodge for the last six years, and has always held some office. He leaves to mourn his loss, his children, C.Y. Libby, Jr. of Dallas, Texas; Doris (Mrs. C.W. Beale) of New York; and Maybelle Libby of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Flora Long of Reydon, and Mrs. Jim Draper of Cleo Springs; two brothers , Jim Libby of Cleo Springs and Thomas R. Libby of Fairview and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at Reydon at 10 o'clock Friday, by Rev. M.A. Hawkins, pastor of the Assembly of God Church, assisted by Rev. Horace Woodard, pastor of the Baptist church. Burial was made at 7 o'clock Friday evening at the Cleo Springs cemetery with the Masonic lodge in charge. D.G. Fatheree of Erick gave the address. The Fatheree Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements. Those attending funeral from out of town were his children, C.Y. Libby Jr. and Maybell Libby, with their mother, Mrs. A.C. Keuhn, all of Dallas, Texas and Mrs Keuhn's father, Mrs C.A. Kimball of Elk City, his brother, Jim Libby of Cleo Springs and Thomas R. Libby of Fairview. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
