Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2001 in the United Methodist Church in Allison, Texas with Rev. Wayne Sheffield, Pastor and Rev. Ernie McGaughery of Tulia, Texas officiating. Burial took place in the Zybach Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler. Mrs. Lohberger was born on February 1, 1917 in Mobeeite, Texas. She was the daughter of Robert Alva and Viola Anderson Sims. She was a graduate of Mobeeite High School. She married Verne Lohberger in 1950 in Cloivs, New Mexico and moved to the Allison Community. Mrs. Lohberger was a Homemaker and Beautician. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Allison, Texas. Survivors include: husband, Verne Lohberger of Allison, Texas, four sons, Danny Lohberger of Melpitas, California, Joe Rucker of Briscoe, Texas, Howard Lohberger of Sweetwater, Oklahoma, and Alton Loghberger of Allison, Texas; two daughters, Carolyn Morello of Cyress, California and Suxanne Lohberger of Allison, Texas, 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandcfhildren.
