She was converted at the age of 12 and joined the Missionary Baptist church at Kiowa. She was united in marriage to Frank Lacey February 11, 1929. To this union was born one son, Fred H. Mrs. Lacey is survived by her husband, Frank Lacey, Hammon; her son, Freddie, Pueblo, Colorado; her mother, Mrs. Lula Brannon, Pueblo; her father, Andrew Hoghes, Alhambra, California; one brotherf, Bilolie Brannon, Pueblo; five sisters, Mmes. Mattie Villers, Pueblo, Colorado; Ola Liddle and Iva Wood, Denver, Ina Fay Ellett, WSestbrook, Texas, and Viknita Betts, Alamosa, Colorado. Mrs. Lacey lived in Kiowa community most of her life. She was aq wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, and was loved by all who knew her. Interment in Kiowa cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
