Interment will follow at Woodland cemetery under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Serivce. Walt Luttrell was born in Hammon on February 9, 1922 to Hervie and Fannie Spitzer Luttrell and died Tuesday November 3, 1998 in Tulsa at the age of 76. He was a member of Osage Hills Christian Church. Walt and Polly were married in Tulsa on November 22, 1972. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving until his discharge in 1944. He retired as Assistant City Circulation Director for the Tulsa World where he had been employed for thirty years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mae Smith of Amarillo, Texas. Walt is survived by his wife Polly, three daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Boyd Moore of Ft. Worth, Texas, Paula and Rick Scoggins of Bixby; two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Carol Luttrell of Sand Springs, and Neal and Mavis Seigfried of Tulsa, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Oma Daniel of Okmulgee and Betty and Montie Box of Sand Springs; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Bernice Luttrell of Tulsa; fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
