Lilley, who has been confined to his home for many months after suffering several strokes of paralysis, passed away Saturday afternoon as he sat in his chair at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Orbison in Elida. The 82-year-old father was a pioneer resident of Roosevelt county, having homesteaded in the Elida vicinity in 1911 and was a very successful farmer. He is survived by his three daughters, Mrs. Orbison, Mrs. Jake McCabe and Brs. J.A. Eakins, all of the Elida vicinity. He was born in Titus county, Texas and while no funeral arrangements have been completed the body will be taken to Dangerfield for burial. There are also six grandchildren among whom are Bernard Eakins and Lillie Barton, both of Durham; three great grandchildren, two of whom are J.B. Eakinds and Bobbie Barton both of Durham; and two great great grandchildren who are Gene Eakins and Bruce Eakins, both of Durham.
