He died June 13, 1985 at the Tulare District hospital. He spent his early life in Herring, Oklahoma and attended Hammon schools. As a young man he worked at cattle ranching. He married Irene Allen in 1925. They moved to California to stay in 1932. He was a furniture dealer in Delano and Corcoran before becoming a partner in Kem and Co. Furniture in Tulare. He sold out and became a carpenter and remodeler in 1946. He retired in 1971. He has been a Tulare residnet for 47 years. During the Second World War he was a civil service supply clerk at Rankin Academy. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tulare. He has been a member of the Masonic Order for more than 50 years, receiving the 50 year pin in 1982, a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Past President and life member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Serv ed as a Cub Master and Scoutmaster of Troop 69 for many years and member of the Order of the Arrow. He was a good scout. He was a charter member of the Go Go Wheels Travel Club. His survivors include his wife of 59 years, Irne Linebarger, Tulare, a son, Robert Linebarger, Weed, California; three grandchildren, Terry Ricioli, Santa Rosa, California; David Linebarger, Elko, Nevada; Daniel Linebarger, Santa Clara, California and two great grandchildren.
