Long was born April 11, 1942 in Webb City, Missouri to Mary Catherine and Herbert Vaughan. She passed away May 14, 2010 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years, 1 month and 3 days. Beverly moved with her parents to the Durham community where she attended school at Reydon and Durham. The majority of Beverly's life was spent in Cheyenne. She had worked as CNA/CMA for the Cheyenne Convalescent Center for a number of years. She moved away from Cheyenne in the 1980's and was currently making her home in Norman, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters. She is survived by her children, Donnie Vaughan, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Gayle Jenkins and husband, Robert, Otway, Ohio, David Long and wife, Stephanie, Norman, Oklahoma; 2 brothers, Jr. Vaughan, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Doug Vaughan, Cour D'Alene, Idaho; 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Services were held Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Cheyenne United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Greg Keith. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery, Durham, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, under the direc tion of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
