Graveside services were held at Trinity Memorial Park under the direction of the Nalley-Pickle Funeral Home with Dr. Phillip McClendon, pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church officiating. She was born April 4, 1918 in Rankin, Oklahoma. She married Hal B. Marbry on April 13, 1940 in Fayerreville, Arkansas. They came to Big Springs in 1956 where she was employed at Cosden Oil and Chemical Company as a switchboard operator. They transferred to Dallas in 1963. They later owned and operated a motel in Cleburns, Texas until returning to Big Springs in 1973. They had operated the Ponderosa Motel and Restaurant until his death on January 17, 1975. She was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church and had worked as a volunteer at the Veterans Administration Medical Center. Survivors include two sisters, Roxanne Wilson of Velta, Colorado, and Juanita Hunt of Cheyenne, Oklahoma and one brother, Dick Estes of Reydon, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Ok
