Claud Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Oklahoma under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Glenna McKee was born March 24, 1934 at Durham to Ira T. and Irene Meehan Samples and died Friday March 13, 1998 at the age of 63. She moved with her family to Wichita, Kansas during World War II. The family moved to Elk City in 1945 where Glenna graduated from Elk City High school. Glenna married Ronald M. McKee on June 16, 1953. They moved to McLean, Texas in 1962 and then in 1972, they moved to Sayre. In 1982, they moved back to Elk City where they have lived since Glenna was employed by the Esquire Cleaners of Elk City. She was preceded in death by her father, Ira Samples and a brother, F.R. "Jack" Samples. Survivors include her husband, Ron, of the Elk City home; four children, Ronda Kay Foshee of McLean, Texas, Regina Baker and husband phil of Sapulpa, Carol lynn James of Elk City and Ronald Dale McKee of Elk City; her mother, Irene Samples of Elk City; one brother T.D. "Duane" Samples of Lawton and eight grandchildren. The Elk City Daily News, Elk City, OK 15-Mar-1998
