McQuigg, died of paralysis at her home near Grand, Thursday morning, August 23, 1917, and was buried at the Bell View cemetery, near Grand at five o'clocfk that evening. Rev. G.A. Watson pastor of the Christian church at Crawford had the ceremony in charge and delivered an impressive address to the host of friends and relatives in attendance. He also read the following: Olive L. Cozart was born December 16, 1872, and died August 23, 1917. She was married to John R. McQuigg at Bowie, Texas November 26, 1891. To this union were born seven children, three boys and four girls, who, with their father survive her. She also leaves two brothers, Dick and Henry Cozart of Enid, Oklahoma and two sisters, Mrs. W.G. Greeg of Drummond, Oklahoma and Ethel Childers of Bowie, Texas. The McQuiggs are widely known in the county having been among the earliest settlers, and the lady's death brings grief to many friends. For the past six years Mrs. McQuigg has been a member of the Baptist Church. She was also a Royal Neighbor with membership at Strong City.
