McCaskill Urey W. McCaskill, son of E.A. and Julia Balch McCaskill, was born March 23, 1905 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. He departed this life December 5, 1964 at Veteran's Hospital in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Ray lived in the Cheyenne community most of his life until moving to Coreapolis, Pennsylvania where he lived at the time of death. He was a member of the Methodist church in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. During World War II he served in the 13th Armored Division in Germany as a Technical Sergeant. Preceding him in death were his mother; two sisters, Mrs. Lee Staton, Mrs. Orie Dykes; and two brothers, Bill and Charlie. Ray is survived by his father, E.A. McCaskill of Cheyenne, two daughters, Mrs. Edward Dillon of Corpus Christi, Texas, Mrs. Bill Bogges, Cheyenne; one son Lance-Corporal Norman McCaskill of Cherry Point, North Carolina; one brother, Lawrence of Cheyenne; five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Harrison of Elk City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Myrtle Porterfield of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Mary Shirley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Etta Gray of Modesto, California, Mrs. Viola Pearl of Fresno, California; other relatvies and friends.
