Interment will follow in the Fairlawn cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Ralph Lee McCaskill was born May 9, 1935 at Reydon, Oklkahoma to James Lawrence and Sadie Sara (Walker) McCaskill and passed away Sunday, February 25, 2007 at Baptist Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 71. Ralph was one of 9 children born to this union. James Lawrence Jr. preceded him in death at the age of 47 and he was also preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sadie Mae Haney on October 3, 2006. He was married to Barbara Still on September 17, 1982 at Elk City. Ralph worked in Cheyenne, OK when he was young and also several towns in Texas in the oil patch until he was severly injured at age 47 on an H and P oil rig. He was taken care of at home from 2000 until April 7, 2006 when he entered the Weatherford Corn Heritage Village and then to Integris Hospital on February 2, 2007 where he received loving care from all the doctors and nurses on 10th Floor, 901 CCU. A very special thank you to Dr. Brett, Dr. Carter, Dr. Cook, Dr. Tindell for who we believe God touched each one with special blessed calling on Earthy. To Judy, a very special NA and CMA who lookedd after Ralph and helped take him to appointments in Oklahoma City after he entered the nursing home in Weatherford. Survivors include his wife: Barbara Still McCakill of the Elk City home, one daughter, Nichole Eastin of Joes, CO, grandchildren, Brittni Eastin and Cayden Gage Eastin, 2 sisters, Ruby Baker of Marlolw, OK and Mary Parkhurst of Colorado, 3 brothers, Charles Eugene McCaskill of Berlin, OK, John McCaskill of Gentry, AR and Jimmy Dean McCaskill of Colorado, 6 sisters in law on both sides, Sheila Garcia of Oklahoma City, Callie Callahan of Oklahoma City, Sherry Howe of Weatherford, OK Betty McCaskill of Gentry, AR, Etta Yell of Sayre and Kathryn McCaskill of Berlin, Ok and brother in law, Paul Baker of Marlow, OK, 3 stepsons, Russell Still and his wife Marilyn of Cloudecroft, NM, Toby Joe Still and his wife Debbie of Elk City, Monty Still and his wife Rhonda of Elk City, one stepdaughter, Tracy Charlson and her husband John of Elk City, grandchildren, Dennie Still and his wife Jenny of El Reno, OK, Kendall Still and wife Tabita of Del City, OK, Trae Lynn Denning and her husband Dave of Elk City, Chase and Chance Charlson of Elk City, 3 step grandchildren of Monty and Rhonda Still, 6 great grandchildren, Breanna Dylan and Ruthie Still all of El Reno, OK., Graceland Marie and Ethan David Denning of Elk City and Chloe Charlson of Elk City and a host of friends he made at the Corn Heritage Village of Weatherford.
