He passed away July 5, 2006 at the age of 58 years, 9 months and 2 days. Lloyd grew up in the Crawford community where he graduated from High School. He entered the United States Army and served his country during the Vietnam Conflict. After his discharge he lived in Perryton, Texas where he owned and operated Surface Control Valve and Equipment Oilfield Supply. He moved to Woodward, Oklahoma and was married to Donna Sue Wood at Ft. Supply, Oklahoma on October 22, 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Bill McDaniel. Survivors include his wife, Donna, of the home; 1 daughter, Shayla McDaniel, Stillwater, Oklaholma; 3 sons, Brandon McDaniel, Amarillo, Texas, Chance McDaniel, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Gary Murry, Perryton, Texas; 2 sisters, Jackie Padgett, Perryton, Texas; Charlotte Creswell, Amarillo, Texas; 2 brothers, Floyd McDaniel, Hammon, Oklahoma; Danny McDaniel, Elk City, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, Breuklyn McDaniel, Ali Murry, Raylee Murry, and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services werte held Monday, July 10, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Cheyenne Cemetery officiated by Jeff Hurlbut. Burial was held at Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service, Cheyenne.
