"Mac" McClellan, age 84 passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2003 in the Decedent's Residence in Friona, Texas. Dennis was born on August 22, 1918 in Strong City, Oklahoma. He married Helen McClellan on July 12, 1942. Dennis was a veteran and served in the Army during WW II. He was a member of the Calavry Baptist Church in Friona, Texas and the American Legion, VFW. Dennis worked for the General Telephone Company. Services were held Thursday, July 3, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Bob Miller and Rev. Alvin Petty. Graveside services were held at the Friona Cemetery, Friona, Texas under the direction of the Blackwell Funeral Home, Friona, Texas. Survivors include: wife, Helen McClellan of Friona, Texas; 3 daughters, Darla Clark of Hereford, Texas, Glenda Miller of Amarillo, Texas, Arleta Scales of Derby, Kansas; and one sister, Roberta Mier of Mountain View, Missouri; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
