She attended sc hool at Berlin and finished high school at Cheyenne. Beulah married John McLean in 1939. They farmed in the New Liberty Community before moving to Pampa, Texas in early 1940. Beulah resided in Pampa after he husbands death, then moved to White Deer, Texas. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Pampa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, one son, two sisters and nine brothers. Survivors include four sisters-in-law, Ruth Simpson of Rockin, CA, Virginia McLean of Sayre, OK, Margaret Simpson of Midwest City, OK and Evelyn Simpson of Hayward, CA, one daughter-in-law Lisa McLean of Panhandle, TX, grandchildren, Marcus McLean, of Canyon, Texas, Melda Jean McLean of Houchins, TX and Bartley John David McLean, several special nieces and nephews and friends. Graveside services were held Friday, November 1, 2002 at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, Texas. Beulah was loved by many and will be missed sorely.
