The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ====================================================================== Bartley John David McLean was born to Beulah Simpson McLean and John David McLean December 13, 1945 at New Liberty, Oklahoma, and passed away August 26, 2000 at the Baptist St. Anthony Hospital in Amarillo, Oklahoma. Bartley spent most of his life in and around Pampa, Texas, but visisted a lot with his aunt, uncles and grandfather, Thomas Simpson, at Rose Hill, Oklahoma. He was a special young man and had many friends over serval states. He is survived by one daughter, Joel McLean of Fritch, Texas; his mother Beulah McLean; one aunt, Virginia McLean of Sayre, Oklahoma; lots and lots of cousins and a loving companion, Carol Jean Katara of White Deer, Texas. Bartley was laid to rest at the Fairvie Cemetery in Pampa, Texas on August 29, 2000. "We will miss his Texas drawl and smiling face," states his Aunt Ruth Montgomery Simpson.
