Mary Barnes. Burial will follow at the Sayre-Doxey Cemetery, Sayre, Beckham County, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home. Norma Sue McLean was born November 9, 1942 at Geary to O.V. and Wanda Williams Cranfill and died Thursday, August 7, 2003 at the Jackon County Memorial Hospital at the age of 60. Norma graduated from Greenfield High School in 1960-. She attended Southwestern State College in Weatherford, graduating with a Batchelor's Degree in Education in 1964 and later with a Master's Degree in Education. Norma married Ronnie L. McLean august 5, 1967 at Greenfield. After completing her Master's Degree Norma taught at Cheyenne for three years from 1964 to 1967, Bessie for two years, and retired from the Altus Public School System after 35 years. She was a member of the Highland Heights United Methodist Church and was active in the Oklahoma Education Association, and United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Cranfill, and father-in- law, Bud McLean. Survivors include; her husband Ronnie McLean of Altus, father, O.V. Cranfill of Watonga; mother-in-law, Virginia McLean of Sayre; sister, Carol Goodin and husband, Jimmy of Eldorado, Glenda DeSpain and husband, Mel of Watonga, Jean Kamphaus and husband Chris of Canute, John Heiner and husband, Stormy of Okarche, sisters-in-law, Judy Kay of Oklahoma City and Jimmye Red of Houston, Texas; five nephews, six nieces, and eleven great nieces and nephews.
