Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with Jerry Golden, pastor, and Hiram Reyes, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors. Mrs. McElreath was born in Roger Mills County, Okla., and had been a lifelong Canadian resident. She attended Canadian schools. She married Jerry McElreath in 1941 at Canadian. He died in 1996. Mrs. McElreath was a bookkeeper for the Mobil service center, which was owned by her husband, and also for the Gulf service center. She was a member of First Baptist Church and WCTU. Survivors include two brothers, Wayne Baker of Canadian and Elvis Baker of Edmond, Okla.; and two sisters, Lorene McCormick of Miami and Marie Baker of Canadian. The family requests memorials be to First Baptist Church, 706 Main St., Canadian, Texas.
