Mrs. Mason, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, was a devoted Christian and passionate witness for her Lord and Savior. Mrs. Mason was born and raised in Roger Mills County, graduated from Crawford High School, attended Oklahoma City Business College and worked as the executive secretary to the Vice President of Superior Oil Company. She married Fred D. Mason on March 23, 1944, in Amarillo, Texas. She participated in her church activities and volunterred in varioous political campaigns. She lived in New Mexico, Utah, Texas and Oklahoma before retiring in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mrs. Malson has been living with her daughter, Deborah Mason King, in Carmel, Indiana, since 1997. Mrs. Malson was preceeded in death by her husband and an infant daughter. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Carl King of Carmel, Indiana and Melinda and Stewart Schultz of Columbus, Indiana; grandchildren, James King of Carmel and Jonathan, Matthew, and Heather Schultz of Columbus; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, December 20, 2003 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Rose Chapel in Cheyenne, following by a graveside service at 3:30 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery, Durham, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with the Reverend Stewart Schultz officiating.
