Mary Ellen Needy was united in marriage to Robert Bolen Mason at Coal City, Indiana. To this union five children were born, four sons and one daughter. Mrs. Mason, with her family came from Indiana in 1904 and settled east of Butler, Oklahoma. They moved to Strong City, Oklahoma in 1925 and have lived here until their passing. She joined the Christian church in 1905 and lived a religious life form that time. Members of her family preceding her in death were, her husband, Robert Bolen Mason, April 24, 1934 and two sons, Charles Armor and Ralph Waldo. Survivors include two sons, Edward Earl of McKenny, Virginia, William Henry, Strong City, and a daughter, Mary Ann, Strong City. Two sisters, May Phillips, Clay City, Indiana, Estella Fiscus, Champaign, Illinois. Thirteen grand children, a number of great grandchildren and many friends.
