McArthur was born December 29, 1952 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Irene Bell and John Audrey McArthur. He passed away May 16, 2007 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 54 years, 4 months and 17 days. LaQuense grew up in Sweetwater and attended school there. The summer of his junior year in high sschool he was married to Pasty Donita (Perry) McArthur at Wheeler, Texas on July 17, 1970. After their marriage they moved to Okmulgee where hed attended diesel mechanic school. In 1972 they moved to Waxahachie, TX where he attended Bible College. At the age of 21 LaQuense and Pasty moved to Bay City, TX where they became house parents to 16 childdren. In 1974 they returned to the Sweetwater areaa where LaQuense helped his father on the family farm. He pastored the Briscoe Assembly of God Church in 1976. LaQuense and Pasty moved back to Sweetwater where he daired and farmed until 1996 when they moved to Elk City and started working for TLR well service. LaQuense enjoyed serving in the mission field including Brazil and the Ukrane building churches and orphanagess. He also enjoyed taking pictures and cooking for his family. His greatest love was his wife. He was a member of Grandview Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, O'Dell Perry, Sister-in-law Sue Hales, 1 niece, Tressa Perry and his dog, Precous. Survivorsw include his wife Pasty, of the home; 2 sons, Kyland McArthur, of Elk City, Oklahoma and Kriston McArthur and wife, Kasee, of Elk City, Oklahoma; 3 daughters, Kathalene Gonzales and husband George, of Austin, Texas, Karry Redd and husband Loren, of Elk City, Oklahoma, and Kasey McArthur of the home; 5 grandsons Michael, Braxton, Isaac, Ashley, Taeya and Christina; 1 great grandson Nazyah; 2 sisters Darlene and husband, Bill of Lawton, Oklahoma, Laqueta Judd, of Oklahoma Ciy, Oklahoma; 1 brother, Dwight and wife, Yolonda McArthur, of New Mexico; mother-in-law Helen Perry; sister Rozana Perry; brother-in-law Daryl and wife Carrie Perry and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends Larry and Sandi Odom and the TLR Well Service. Services were held Saturday May 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Grandview Assembly of God Church officiated by Daryle Perry and Mark Little. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Whitney- Savage Funeral Service.
