The officiating ministers were Rev. Frank Barnes, pastor of the Indian Mission, and Rev. W.L. Magar, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial was in Red Hill cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Viola May McCormick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wilder, was born December 21, 1912 ar Hammon, Oklahoma, and departed this life June 1, 1952 near Glendive, Montana, at the age of 39 years 5 months and 10 days. She was married to Tommy McCormick uin October 1930 at Hammon, where they resided several years. To this union were born four sons, Donald, now serving in the U.S. Air Force in Japan; Roger, Leonard and Phillip, of the home address, Sidney, Nebraska. Mrs. McCormick became a Christian early in life, and at the time of her death shed was a member of the First Baptist Church, Sidney, Nebraska. Those who mourn her going include her immediate family; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilder, Sidney; two brothers, Carl, Phillip, Texas, L.T., Fresno, California; two sisters, Velma Lea Coggin, Madera, California, and Evelyn Payne, Borger, Texas. Other than these near relatives she leaves a great host of other relatives and friends.
