Maddoux of Sweetwater, Oklahoma at the Buffalo Bible Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Maddoux died at the Shamrock Hosptial on Sunday, May 1, 1977. Officiating for the service was Rev. Sanford Cole. Born at Sayre, Oklahoma on November 1, 1907 to B.E. Maddoux and Annie Leeper Maddoux, he lived at Aberdeen, Texas until Sweetwater area. He was married on March 30, 1925 at Wellington, Texas to Flossie M. Nelson. He was a farmer, and a member of the Buffalo Bible Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of the home, two daughters, Wanda L. Frazier of Fremont, California; and Bill Fae Allen, Rt. 1, Erick, Oklahoma; and one son Junior Ray Maddoux, Claremore, Oklahoma; two brothers, Dave H., of Sweetwater, Oklahoma and Ed, of Portales, New Mexico; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Pall bearers were Burl Coffey, Bill Barham, J.E. McGuire, Jr.; Hershel Anderson, and Franz Jarnagin and Clarence Belvins. Interment was in the Buffalo Cemetery. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
