Meadows was born May 25, 1936 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Verta Lee and Russell Hall. She passed away July 9, 2000 in the Great Plains Regional Medical Centger at the age of 64 years, 1 month and 14 days. Betty attended school in Canute, and was married to Charles "Chuck" Meadows at Elk City, Oklahoma on March 19, 1972. They owned and operated the Gospel Gift Shop from 1978 to 1985. Her hobbies included raising flowers, crocheting, sewing, palying the piano and working jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of the Prairie View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother; and one son, Ronnie Wayne Mott. Survivors include her husband, Charles "Chuck" Meadows of the home; one daughter, Lowanna Redd, of Elk City, Oklahoma; her father Russell Hall, of Elk City, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Melissa Redd, Loren Redd, Caleb Redd, Daydra mOtt, Dalsha Mott and Devin Mott; two great grandchildren, Tessa Redd and Seth Redd; two sisters, Phyllis Austin of Hereford, Texas and Zenith Sturdivant, of Ozark, Arkansas; and one brother, Andy Hall, of Elk City, Oklahoma, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held Wednesday, July 12, 2000 at 2:30 p.m. at the Prairie View Baptist Church, officiated by Kendall Hamilton. Burial was at Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Oklahoma under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
