Burial was in Red Hill cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills county, Oklahoma. Mr. Mathews was born November 2, 1881, and died Thursday in a local nursing home. He came to Hammon in Roger Mills County many years ago. The past two years he was confined to a nursing home in ill health. He is survived by one brother, Chester Mathews, Elk City, Oklahoma.
