She was one of 12 children. She passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2000 in Oregon. In 1948, she moved from Oklahoma to Aumsville, Oregon and worked at the telephone company there. She laster worked at the telephone company in Myrtle Point for seven years, followed by Mill City. She retired from GTE in Beaverton, Oregon in the mid 1980's. She was active at the Elsie Stuhr Senior Ceneter where she enjoyed playing pinochle. She also sewed and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. Her survivors are two sons, Adrian and wife Nancy Mills, Hillsboro, Oregon and Tony Mills, LaGrande, Oregon; one daughter-in-law, Rosemary; three brothers, Bill Jones, Dumas, Texas, Sam Jone, San Diego, California, and Homer Jones, Elk City, Oklahoma; four grandchildren: Anthony Mills, Aloha, Oregon, Jason Mills, Puyallup, Washington, Eric Mills, Portland, Oregon, and Shane Mills, New Mexico; three great grandchildren Xander Mills of New Mexico, Anatoli Mills of Aloha, Oregon, and one to be born this week; plus other relatives and friends.
