"Moon" Mullins, 81, of Amarillo died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Sherman Eastland officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mr. Mullins was born in Roger Mills County, Okla., to Mac and Salley Blaylock Mullins. He was a former longtime farmer in the Butler, Okla., area. He married Emma Jane Waters on Dec. 24, 1941, in Cheyenne, Okla. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past Christmas Eve. He was a member of the Methodist Church. They came to Amarillo in 1956 and he was a mechanic for the city of Amarillo until his retirement in January 1983. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ralph Mullins and Frank Mullins, both of Amarillo; a brother, Tim Mullins of Arapaho, Okla.; four sisters, Agnes Lowry of Canute, Okla., Leona Byford of Yukon, Okla., Louise Tucker of Fairfield and Lavelle Allen of Amarillo; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
