Miller Funeral services for William A. Miller, 83 year-old Hammon resident who died Monday, June 19, 1967 was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 1967 in the Moorewood Baptist church with Rev. C.L. Fredricks officiating. Burial will be in the Butler cemetery, Butler, Custer County, Oklahoma. Mr. Miller was born in Octob er of 1884 near Gainesville, Texas, and came to Oklahoma many many years ago. He lived in Moorewood before moving to Hammon where he had lived until his death. He was married on December 18, 1904, in Elm to Birdie Virginia Magee, who preceded him in death on December 15, 1963. He was a memb er of the Moorewood Baptist church and the Texmo Masonic Lodge. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Lorene Travis, Delaware, Mrs. Hollis Travis, Hammon and Mrs. Dorothy Trujillo, Oakland, California; three sons, Carl and Clyde, both of Weatherford, and Dewie of Hammon; three sisters, Mrs. Maude ee, Butler; Mrs. Dovie Miller, Pampa, Texas, Mrs. Rosa Hasinger, Oklahoma City; four brothers, Glen, Weatherford; Jesse, Oklahoma City, Grover, Butler and Arthur, Claremore; 13 grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.
