He passed away March 22, 2003 in his home, Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years, 3 months and 21 days. He moved with his parents to Shallowater, Texas where he graduated from High School. He joined the United States Air Force in 1968 and served his country during the Vietnam Conflict. While stationed in Empire, Michigan he met and married Kathy Haygood at Traverse City, Michigan on January 3, 1969. They moved to Shallowater, Texas where he worked as an electrician for Honeywall. They moved to Cheyenne, Oklahoma in 1985 to make their home. He was an avid collector and builder of model trains. He loved to fish and play his bass guitar in a gospel band. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Graveside Services were held March 25, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, officiated by Charles Wright and Juanice Parkhurst. Services will be under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service, Cheyenne. Survivors include: wife, Kathy of the homer; one daughter, Donna Boyett and husband, Terry of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; one son, Jimmy Miller of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; his Mother and Step Father, Wanda and Dale Moseley of Sayre, Oklahoma; his Father and Step-Mother, Wayne and Imogene Miller of Lubbock, Texas; one sister, Teresa Carpenter of Erick, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Jacklynn and Ashley Boyett of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; one niece, Amy Wells and husband Dan, one great niece, Lindsey Wells of Elk City, Oklahoma; host of other relatives and friends.
