She departed this life September 29, 1946. She was united in marriage to James Holland Miller in 1892. To this union was born one daughter and three sons. The family moved from Kentucky to their present home in November 1904. Mrs. Miller was converted in the Christian Church at an early age. After coming to Oklahoma she became a member of the Church of God at Chapel Hill. Her husband preceded her in death in 1932. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter, Mrs. Pearl Garrison of Strong City: three sons, Sam Miller of Hammon, Fred Miller of Chelsea, and Govie Miller of Strong City; six grandchildren, Buster Miller of Hammon, Mrs. Marie Henry, Stanley Miller and Solen Miller of Chelsea, Phylis Elanine and Betty Jo Miller of Strong City; one great-grandson, Clovis Buster Miller, Jr., of Hammon, and a host of other relatives and friends. To her children she was a devoted mother, always ready to share their burdens and troubles, always lending a helping hand. Her heart was full of sympathy and understanding. She was a friend to anyone in need and a neighbor who was ready to help. Her going leaves sorrow in thed hearts of all who knew her.
