Funeral arrangements have been set for 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Berlin high school auditorium, with Rev. W.C. Mathes, pastor of the Elk City Methodist church, officiating. Meehan was born on November 17, 1908 in Eldorado, and came to Roger Mills county at the age of 14. On November 2, 1929, he was married to Hazel Harrington in Sayre. To this union two daughters and a son were born. One daughter, Dorothea, and his wife preceded him in death. Mrs. Meehan passed away in February 1943, in Long Beach, California. With his two children, Mr. Meehan has resided in Elk City since 1945. He was a member of the Methodist church. Mourning his passing are his two children, Donald and Patsy Meehan, of the home address and three sisters, Mrs. James J. Duncan of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Owen L. Donahoo and Mrs. Ia Samples both of Elk City. Burial will be made at Berlin, with Martin-Hullum funeral directors in charge of arrangements.
