He passefd away peacefully on February 20, 2003 in Roseville, California at the age of 66. He resided in Roseville with his wife, Naomi Montgomery. Jick was preceded in death by his parents Claudse N. Montgomery and Mary Ellen Boydstun Montgomery. Two sisters, Goldie Spitzer and Lena Mercer and by his son, Jeffrey. He is survived by his siblings, Juanita Bruton, Ruth Simpson, Claudie "Sonny: Montgomery, William "Bill" Montgomery and Ann Frkavick. He is also survived by his children Laurie Jan Cannon of Elk City, Oklahoma, Brent, Greg and Crain Montgomery of Sacramento, California, Marlene LaSan and Monte LaSan of Roseville, Californina and eleven grandchildren. Jick worked in the automobile business for over 25 years. He served in the military for six years. He was asn honorary member of the International Association of Mechanics & Aerospace Workers. Jick had many special friends around Cheyenne and Berlin. He attrended school at Berlin most of his life. He will be greatly missed. Services were helfd February 26, 32003 at Lambert Funeral Home in Roseville, California.
