Recently he suffered from an itnense headache and trouble with his heart, but it was thought that his condition was improving as he had eaten rather heartly the day before his death early in the morning. During the night he became unconscious and never regained his consciousness again. Lloyd Monroe was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. N.R. Monroe formerly resided in this city. Mrs Monroe now resides here with her daughter, Mrs. E.E. Tracy. Mr. Monroe, was at the time of his death engaged in buying oil royalties around Shamrock, Texas, but was by trade a printer and newspaper man. He began his career in the Star Office about twenty years ago. He has many friends in this community who will deeply regret to learn of his untimely demise.
