Manhart Funeral services for Mrs. Essie E. Manhart, Durham, who died Friday, April 11, 1959 at the Cheyenne hospital following a short illness, were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Durham community building, with Leland Burch, Durham church of Christ minister, officiating. Born August 16, 1889 in Moultrie county, Illinois, Mrs. Manhart was married June 11, 1922 to Robert A. Manhart at Charleston, Ill., who preceded her in death in 1946. She has been a member of the Church of Christ since childhood. Survivors are one son, Bob of Durham; three daughters, Mrs. Lillie Quinn, and Mrs. Eva Stuart both of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Alice Cartwright, Odessa, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Bixiler, Mrs. Ada Ball; one brother, Willard McCabe; seven grandchildren. Pall bearers were Sam Sides, Ray Davis, Fred Baxter, Otto Ator, Donnie Chappell, Wesley York. Interment was in the Fairview cemetery, Durham, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins and son in charge of arrangements. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
