He was married to Lynn Reaves in 1900. To this union were born two children, Mae and Letha. His wife died April 14, 1906. He was married to Julia Self on July 8, 1908 in Newark, Arkansas. They came directly to Oklahoma and made their home in the Roll community where they lived and reared and moved to Cheyenne where he was residing at the time of his passing. He obeyed the Gospel and was added to the Church in 1948. He spent an active and useful life until about nine months ago when a heart condition forced him to limit his activities. However, he was still happiest when he was visting the sick or doing for others. He was preceded in deaty bh Letha at age 11 and Mae at age 34. He leaves to mourn his passing his devoted wife, Julia; three daughters, Mrs. Fred Young, Crawford; Mrs. Charles Coryell, Burlington, Colorado; Mrs. Rolly Blurton of Hobart, Oklahoma; three sons, Joe of Crawford, Kenneth and Ollie of Jay, Oklahoma, 11 grandchildren 23 great grandchildren, two brothers-in-law, W.C. and W.H.
