Obit for Mrs. Siddie Ophella Martin

Funeral services for Mrs. Siddie Ophella Martin, Cheyenne who died Thursday at 
Cheyenne hospital after a long illness.  Were held in the Cheyenne Baptist church 
Saturday with Rev. Herman Leford officiating.

Born December 30, 1882 in Little Rock, Arkansas, Mrs. Martin was married 
August 5, 1900 to C.L. Martin at Johnson county, Texas.  They came to Cheyenne 
in 1903 where she lived until the present time.  She is a member of the 
Baptist church.

The husband preceded her in death December 7, 1956.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Lois Wright, Strong City, Mrs. Rena Jackson 
of LeFore, Texas, Mrs. Rula Carl, Yeager, one son, A.L. of Crawford; one sister, 
Mrs. Hepsie Underwood, Durham.

Interment was in the Silent Home cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma 
with Scroggins and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
