Larkin S. Martin, 68, died Monday morning in the M.D. Anderson Hospital in 
Houston, Texas after a lengthy illness.

He had lived in Corpus Christi and previously lived in Donna.  Martin was 
born in  Dempsey, Oklahoma was a vegetable and produce buyer and shipper.

Survivors include two sons: Larry Martin of Austin and Kenneth R. Martin of 
Robstown, Texas; a brother Everett Martin of Donna; his parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. John C. Martin of Donna; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Church of Christ 
in Donna, with Mr. David Massey officiating.

Burial wa in the Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Kreidler Funeral Home of McAllen was in charge of the arrangements.
