Interment will be in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Bonnie Rachel Malson was born October 19, 1907 near Rocky, Oklahoma, Indian Territory to S.R. and Margaret Elma Bolding Moore and passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the age of 99. She was raised in Rocky and New Mexico and then received her teaching certificate and taught school a year. She was married to Floyd Arlie Malson on April 14, 1929 and they established their home on a farm near Hammon where they lived until 1970 when they moved into Hammon. Mr. Malson preceded her in death on August 6, 1973. Bonnie was a member of the Assembly of God Church, the History Society and was the Cheyenne Arapaho Heritage Queen in 1995. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, 2 sisters, 1 grasndson, 1 granddaughter, and 1 great granddaughter. Survivors include 6 children Marg Malson Scout, of Edmond, Oklahoma, Helen Bell and her husband, Jack, of Edmond, Oklahoma, Joyce Ivey and her husband, Wayne, of Hammon, Oklahoma, Jo Ann Colwill of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Carolyn Harris and her husband, Lonnie of Terrell, Texas, and Roy Malson, of Shattuck, Oklahoma; 17 grandchildren ans 11 great grandchildren.
