Margaret Ima Lennie Lutz was born October 6, 1923, to Theodore Lutz and Nellie Alice Williams Lutz at home close to Crawford, Oklahoma. It is noted in one of her bibles that midwife, Grandma Flue, and her father where there. She was the youngest of seven children. Margie went to school at Crawford, graduating in 1941. She married Leonard McDaniel January 27, 1964, in Cheyenne. They made their home two miles west of Durham. They both joined Durham Baptist Church after they were married and was baptized together on August 27, 1964. Margie was a dedicated servant to the church working with the children's ministry, Sunday School and served as church secretary for numerous years. Margie was known for her ability to talk! She loved being active and around family and friends. Margie operated a beauty shop from her home for many years. She could be found by Leonard's side at about any time helping with cows and anything else. Her community activities include the Durham Willing Workers, Hobby Circle Club, and the Durham Quilting Bee's. Margie never met a child that didn't instantly love her or a person she didn't want to talk to. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Frances Lutz, Gladys Price, Ted Lutz, Glen Lutz, Melvin Lutz, Bessie Parks and a grandson Robert Boyd. Margie is survived by her loving husband, Leonard, of the home; her three children and their spouses, Lou Ann and Bill Bonser of Klammath Falls, Oregon; Jack and Kathy Boyd of Guymon, Oklahoma; and Mike and Penny Boyd of Stratford, Texas. Five grandchildren, Becky Bonser Dye, Bill Bonser, Jr., Brenda Bonser Schwartz, Jackie Boyd Francis, Trent Boyd and six great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and other family and close-friends. Casket Bearers, Bill Bonser, Jr., Bill Dye; Brent Bonser; Clay Francis; Jared Dye; Tim Schwartz; Trent Boyd. The family request memorials be made to the Silent Home Cemetery or a charity of your choice. Services will be held July 13, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Durham Community Building officiated by Bro. Ray Smart. Burial will be at Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
