Shane Hall and burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Johnny Millspaugh was born October 30, 1917 to Walter and Cora Curry Millspaugh in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008 in Clinton's Grace Living Center. Mr. Millspaugh was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1935. He continued his education at Southwestern and Judge Keen's School of Court Reporting. He became the Custer County Court Reporter in 1939. He married Miss Boothe Charlton in 1942. The only time Mr. Millspaugh did not live in Clinton was while he was serving in WW II. He enlisted before Pearl Harbor and became a recruiting officer. In 1946 he returnedd back to Clinton to be with his wife, Booth. They were married for 65 years and she preceded him in death October 2007. In 1946 he became the District Court Reporter for Second Judicial District which included six counties. He retired in 1982 and was honored by lawyers from three states as the "World's" Greatest Court Reporter. He had the longest tenure of memership in Clinton First Baptist Church, 79 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Wilford "Granny" Millspaugh and Orville "Skinny" Millspaugh. He is survived by his son, Stephen Millspaugh and wife, Rose, of Weatherford and daughter Johnna Roberts and husband Greg of Omaha, Nebraska and two granddaughters, Leslie Millspaugh, Cambridge, Maryland and Ashley Rogerts, Kansas City, Missouri and one great granddaughter, Amanda Sulphin, Easton, Maryland. He is also survivedd ny many nephews and nieces. The family greeted guest at the funeral home, on Friday, April 25. 2008. The family has suggested those wishing to make memorial contributions may do so the chariy of your choice.
