She had been ill for the past 10 days with pneumonia. Mrs. Moad was born Naomi Gailey, April 13, 1863 in Altoona, Pa. She was married in 1880 to Joe A. Moad, who preceded her in death March 28 of last year. Mrs. Moad had lived in Roger Mills county since 1898. She was a member of the Methodist church and of the Rebekah lodge. Surviving are three daughters Mrs. Laura Mitchell and Mrs. W.B. Hibler of Hammon, Mrs. W.B. Leslie of Leedey, and four sons, A.G. Moad and J.S. Moad of Herring, J.D. Moad, Sayre, and G.R. Moad, Big Springs, Texas. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church in Hammon. Rev. Earl Nowlin will officiate.
