She later moved to Sayre in order to care for her ailing father. In addition to farming and raising cattle, Clella worked as a nurse and caregiving at the at the Sayre Hosptial and nursing homes. She ofen stated that she "would have worked in caring for patients without pay, just for getting a hug". She and Connie were blessed with three children, one daughter, Alma Richardson, Sayre and two sons; Errol of Edmond, Oklahoma and Connie of Burnett, TX. All are members of the Church of Christ. Clella truly lived the inspiration given us in the Bible to do unto others as you wouldd have others do unto you. This verse is also carved into the family's gravestone. She showed her belief in this verse not only when she was well and healthy but also in the last days of her life. She was more concerned about being a burden to the doctors andd caregivers as well as family members that she was for herself. She is loved and will be misssed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Donations can be made to the Westview Boys Home or Tipton Boys Home. Services were held October 16, 2009 at the Sayre Church of Christ officiated by J.A. Farber. Burial followed at the Lone Oak Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
