She was the daughter of one of the "Old Settler," John Lee Daugherty and Ada Anne Snider Daugherty. Ermin was born on a farm near Clinton on December 29, 1913. She later moved to Strong City and then to Cheyenne, where she graduated with honors, from high school in 1931. She later attended Hill's Business College in Oklahoma City, then moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma where she worked as a legal secretary until marrying Saline Napier in 1939. They lived in various locations during WWII, including Marietta, Georgia. After the war they moved back to Oklahoma where they lived until 1947 when they moved to Alice, Texas. They resided there for four years, and then moved to Corpus Christi, where they lived for 10 years. They finally settled in Austin in 1963 where they resided until their deaths. Ermin was preceded in death by her husband, Saline (Sam) Napier, her parents John and Ada Daugherty, her brother, John Robert Daugherty. She is survived by her sisters, Lillian Combs of Grass Valley, California and Helen Ward of Wichita, Kansas; brother, Robert (Bob) E. Daugherty of Stillwater, Oklahoma; daughter, Bette Pritchett of Round Rock, Texas, son, Warren Napier and wife Patsy of Austin; grandsons, James Pritchett and wife Christy of Garland, Texas, John Kirby of Sanger, Texas, Scott Napier of Jacksonvile, Florida, Philip Napier of Austin and Ross Flowers of Austin; and granddaughters Lesley Napier of St. Augustine, Florida and Natalie Flowers of Taylor, Texas; and several cousins,nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews and two great-great nieces and nephews.
