The services were conducted bny Dr. Albert E. Gregg, assisted by Rev. Laddie Adams, pastor of the local Baptist church. Committal was in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under direction of Scroggins and Son. Harold Larue Nighbert, known as "Doc", died in Oklahoma City, Thursday, December 7, 1961 at the age of 57 years. He came to Cheyenne in 1928 and made this his home until about 12 years ago when he moved to Elk City. Later he moved to Oklahoma City. He was a member of the Presbyterian church. Immediate survivors include his wife, Olive, and his mother, Jennie Mouser, both of Oklahoma City, three step sisters, Mr. J.E. Bradshaw of Cheyenne, Mrs. Dorothy Ewing of Altus and Mrs. Ilma Odenbaugh of Wichita, Kansas, and a step brother, William Mouser of Oklahoma City. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
