Lynn was 20 years, 10 months, and 15 days of age at the time of his death. Lynn spent his entire life in the Leedey community, attending the Leedey grade school and graduating from Leedey High School in 1977. His special interest included basketball, baseball, fishing and pool. Lynn received several awards in school, of which are the Leedey All Sports in 1976, Baseball Award in 1969, 70 and 72. Lynn accepted Jesus as his Savior and was batpized at an early age. He was an active member of the Leedey First Baptist Church. Lynn was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Maxon and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Newton. Those remaining to cherish his memory include his beloved parents, Glen and Nellie of Leedey, 8 sisters and their husbands, Mrs. Mike (Marlene) Garza of Norwalk, California, Mrs. Jim (Marjorie) Drinnon of Elk City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Ronnie (Betty) Landley of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Mrs. Wesley (Thelma) Lewis of Elk City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Dana (Georgie) Johnson of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Mrs. Gary (Helen) Adams of Elk City, Oklahoma, and Denise Newton of Leedey; 1 brother, Walter and his wife, Linda of Woodward, Oklahoma; also 7 nieces, 14 nephews, several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Funeral Services for Lynn were held Sunday, July 8, 1979 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Leedey. Officiating ministers were Ron Argo, pastor Leedey First Baptist Church, and Charles Watson, pastor Leedey First United Methodist Church. Interment followed in the Evergree Cemetery of Leedey.
