Mr. Nalley graduated from Seminole High School, Seminole, Oklahoma, and attended Seminole Junior College and O.S.U. On October 224, 1981 he and Jean Ann Pierce were united in marriage in Wewoka, Oklahoma, moving to Cheyenne in 1982 following his graduation from Oklahoma Highway Patrol Academy where they were living at the time of his death. David had been a member of the Baptist Church for a number of years and was Trooper for the Oklahoma Highway Department under the Department of Public Safety. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Jean Ann of the home, 2 step daughters: Bridget and Twila, 2 sons, Joshua and Ryan, 2 aunts: Lena Kistler and Jean Cheatham, both of Seminole, Oklahoma, 2 uncles: Bill Walters, Oklahoma City and Jack Walters, Luling, LA. and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, October 30, 1984, at 9:30 a.m. with Aubrey Cowan and Willard Cox officiating. Dean Whaley, Jr. conducted the grave side services Tuesday evening at 5:00 p.m. in the Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne. Pallbearers were: Mike McClellan, Danny Morris, Harry Tustin, Steven Tubbs, Don Cearlock and Stan Walker. The Roger Mills County Sheriff's Department served as Honorary Pallbearers.
