Charlotte Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nelswon, was born at the family home northwest of Cheyenne on February 13, 1917, and passedd away at her home on January 10, 1936 at 8 p.m. Charlotte was a graduate of the Cheyenne High School being a member of the class of 1934, and was one of the outstanding members of the Cheyenne Baptist Church. She had a wide range of friends in this city and in the vicinity of her home, who mourn her untimely passing. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon in the Baptist church of this city with the Rev. J.H. Bradley delivering the sermon in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. Interment was made in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Tunnard Funeral Home. Those of the family left to mourn the passing of this young woman are her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nelson; three sisters, Mary Nelson, Mrs. Ruth Davis, and Mrs. Edd Grissom and two brothers George Nelson and Harding Nelson.
