She passed away at the Oklahoma City Baptist Burn Center on the 24th of May 1980 at the age of 62 years, 7 months and 23 days. As a small child the family moved to a farm near Durham, Oklahoma where she attended school. Miss Bradford was married to Charles Newlin on March 2, 1936 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. To their marriage five children were born. Following their marriage they came to the Dacoma area where they have farmed. She was a member of the Dacoma Church of God, for many years taught the Nursery and the Beginner Sunday School Classes and was active in the Church's Women Fellowship. Mrs. Newlin was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a grandson, Greg Newlin, her parentds, an infant sister and a sister, Dolly, two brothers Jerry and Charles. Frances is survived by her husband, Charles of the home, three daughters and their husbands, Betty Lavona and Terry Means of Carmen, Tave and Steve Bontrager of Cherokee and Sue and Paul Lord of Sharon, Oklahoma, a son and his wife, Charles and Wanona of Alva. Six grandchildren, Charlene and her husband Ron Martin, Kevin and Kayli Means, Stephani and Keli Bontriger and Chad Lord, one great grandson, Charles Lee Martin. Five sisters, Nancy Potter of Elk City, Minnjie Means of Cheyenne, Mary Alsip of Wheeler, Texas, Stella Davis and Martha Brigham both of Kerrville, Texas, seven brothers, Robert of Emporia, Kansas, Otis of Shawnee, Jim of Cherokee, W.T. of Wichita Falls, Texas, I.E.
