Services were Thursday at 2:30 P.M., First Baptist Church, Sweetwater. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Walter Knox. He was born April 28, 1918 in Hereford, Texas, came to the Reydon Community at an early age. He married Lucille Holland December 13, 1943, San Francisco, California. They lived in the Sweetwater and Crawford communities. He was employed at Southwestern State College, Weatherford, Oklahoma. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crawford, a veteran of the 2nd World War. Member V.F.W., American Legion. Surviving are his wife of the home, two daughters, Mrs. Leo Stubenrough, St. Louis, Missouri, Mrs. Bob Willgard, Weatherford, Oklahoma, two sons Ronald and Gary, both of Weatherford, 3 grandchildren, his mother Mrs. Gusta Nabors, Erick, Oklahoma, 1 sister, Mrs. Coy Burns, Erick, 4 brothers, Clifford, Lower Lake, Colorado, Olen, Sweetwater, Oklahoma, Wilber, of Pampa, Texas, Donald, Dallas, Texas. Interment was in Buffalo Cemetery with Fatheree and Albert of Erick in charge. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK 6-Apr-1972 ========= Leo Nabors, Cheyenne, died Monday at Weatherford following a tractor accident there in the afternoon. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 6th, 1972 in the First Baptist Church, Sweetwater, Rev. Sanford Cole and Rev. Walter Knox officiating. Born April 28, 1918 at Hereford, Texas. Mr. Nabors was reared in the Reydon community. He was married December 13, 1943 at San Francisco, California, to Lucille Holland. They had resided at Sweetwater, Crawford, and Weatherford. He was employed at SWSC. A veteran of WW II he served in the Asiatic Pacific theatre of operations. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Crawford. Survivors are his wife of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Leo Stubenrouch, St. Louis, Missouri, Mrs. Bob Willyard, Weatherford; two sons, Ronald and Gary of Weatherford; three grandchildren; his mother Mrs. Gusta Nabors, Erick; one sister Mrs. Coy Brumer, Erick; four brothers Clifford of Lower Lake, California, Olan of Sweetwater, Wilber of Pampa, Texas; Donald of Dallas, Texas. Pallbearers were Ted Bright, Oran McGlothlin, Willard Young, Vernon Payen, L.D. Howell, Clarence Blevins. Interment was in Buffalo cemetery with Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
