Dolan Ivey officiating. Interment was at the Butler Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk Citgy. An online obituary is available at www.martinfhok.com Erma Jean Newcomb was born February 10, 1947, at Mansfield, Texas, and passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010, at the age of 63. She graduated from Merritt High School and married Willis Newcomb on July 24, 1965, at Hammon. They established their home in the Hammon-Butler area, where they have lived since. Mrs. Newcomb was a hairdresser before starting a career with the Hammon School System, where she was a bus driver, worked in the janitorial department, the cafeteria and was a teacher's aide. She was a past member of the Red Moon Culture Club and was attending the Hammon Community Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and 11 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband, Willis Newcomb of the home; three children, Chad Newcomb and his wife Kendra of Butler, Jase Newcomb and his wife Dana of Duke, Tiffany Newcomb and her finance Elroy Johnson of Sayre; Rosalyn Hughes of Elk City; and two brothers, Dean Jones of Tyler, Texas, and Larry Jones, ! of Joshua, Texas.
